Tiptoeing Through the Layers of Self is my attempt to explore the emotions and experiences I usually look for in others, this time through self-portraits. Turning the camera on myself means stepping into the same vulnerable space I often ask others to enter, and facing the fragile task of seeing my own image reflected back.
Navigating one's own self-image can be a delicate process, particularly when confronted with the lens of a camera.
The red ball I carry is a vessel, it holds the echoes of all the people I have met. With every encounter, it grows, becoming heavier with memory, yet richer with connection. It reminds me that the self is never only one, but always shaped by the presence of others.
